It’s thanksgiving here in Canada, which spurred me to reflect on some of the things I am thankful for. Here are 10 things I came up with:
-
I thank God for His Son Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made for me.
-
I thank God for my life.
-
I thank God for my wife.
-
I thank God for my son.
-
I thank God for my family.
-
I thank God for all the people he has brought into my life…. the good, the bad and the indifferent. I have learnt from them all.
-
I thank God for all that he has provided for me and my family materially and financially.
-
I thank God for my health.
-
I thank God that I live in Canada.
-
I thank God that I don’t live in Iraq, Darfur, Afghanistan, Israel or The U.S.A.

Asabagna,
You have every reason to be thankful for your life; Accomplishment in your Job, wonderful wife, bouncing baby boy and spiritual transformation. What else can a man ask for?
Secondly, you may not be living in any of these troubled regions, but have a responsibility to make a difference in your own small way. Your prayers for peace, good leadership for world leaders and any form of charitable contribution for children living in these parts of the world, is the ultimate thing we should all be involved in to make a difference.

My Brother DJ Black Adam,
When it appears that the grass seems to be greener on the other side, it’s usually due to the fact that they are using more fertilizer… you just can’t see it. [;o)
Peace.
